Discover the iconic jewellery of Majoral!

Some of the Majoral collections have taken on special importance, being timeless pieces, which have become representative and identifiable with their philosophy.

The visual and creative language of Majoral develops from experimentation and constant progress. Creating a personal symbolic and iconographic world is essential in the field of signature jewellery, managing to give meaning to the collections, beyond their functionality and beauty. The jewellery of Majoral has the strength to generate symbols, making their creations simultaneously talisman and adornment.

In this article we look at those iconic collections of Majoral, the ones that marked a critical evolution in the development of this vital and creative experience.

Posidonia: the Majoral collection that pays homage to Formentera

In the iconic jewellery of Majoral there must be a place for their main source of inspiration: the island of Formentera. As an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Enric Majoral, Posidonia collection pays homage to the marine plant grass par excellence of the island. Posidonia produces undulating forms and takes its name from the ancient Greek god Poseidon.

The Posidonia collection of Majoral aims to evoke the function of the marine plant itself: maintaining the natural balance, always precarious, of our Mediterranean Sea.

Tresor (Treasure): the value of what is simple and pure

Tresor collection designed by Roc Majoral, evokes the journey of self-knowledge that hides behind treasure hunts. Its pieces joined without soldering enhance the value of what is simple and pure, but also transmit fragility and intimacy. The dichotomy between the void and fullness accompany us in our personal growth, and at Majoral they have wanted to crystallise this in an item of jewellery that won the Couture Design Award in 2012.

Pluja (Rain): water as the origin of life

Rain is an increasingly more valued asset due to the climate emergency. Conceived as a scarce resource, water becomes a jewel that we must take good care of. From this premise emerges the Pluja collection, made with noble materials and nylon threads that give it a touch of boldness without sacrificing elegance.

Xips: a homage to the ethnic jewellery of the Arab countries

Cultural diversity enables us to discover the essence of humanity. With this idea in mind, in 2005 Enric Majoral produced the Xips collection . A collection that becomes a homage to the ethnic jewellery of Arab countries, featuring the manufacture of jewellery from coins. The “coins” from the Xips collection are undulating and organic forms, to generate movement, sound and brightness.

Samoa: inspired by the ancient rituals of Polynesia

The Samoa collection is one of the homages that Majoral pays to the islands of Polynesia. The collection takes the name of the millennial island known for the famous floral necklaces. Made with Fairmined gold, Samoa transmits the cheerful and summery nature of flowers.

Flô: a collection with a plant-like soul from ancient Egypt

The Flô collection is made with yellow gold and diamonds. It imitates the form of the stylised flowers and plant sketches with a clear oriental touch. Flô is, perhaps, one of Majoral’s most refined and dynamic collections.
