The Majoral jewellery that oozes nature

Nature has become a central creative concept in contemporary jewellery. The beauty of natural forms and their authentic colours serve as a source of inspiration for Majoral. Collections such as Pluja (Rain), Ones (Waves), Bosc (Forest), Romaní (Rosemary) or Blat (Wheat) give their name to pieces that transmit to those who wear them the exuberance of natural landscapes, settings and phenomena that enchant us when we see them.

Nature has always been a muse for artistic and artisanal creativity. The infinity of forms, textures and colours that we can find in flora, landscapes and natural phenomena have been taken by contemporary jewellery as an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

On the one hand, contemporary jewellery has found in nature that essence that enables us to create jewellery that goes beyond the pre-established norms of jewellery: the plurality and diversity of nature is taken as a pretext to conceive the jewellery: creative, singular, diverse and evocative.

On the other hand, jewellery inspired by nature contains a strong expressive charge. Wearing a piece that emulates a landscape or element or natural phenomena, will transport you, for an instant, to that time in which we have all been thrilled by the abundance and elegance of nature.

For Majoral, a signature contemporary jewellery firm of Mediterranean essence, nature has always been an inspiration, a starting point for creation and letting the imagination run free. The Pluja, Ones, Bosc, Romaní and Blat collections are examples of this.

Pluja: the beauty of a rainy day

The drops of water that fall on a day of light showers, so typical of Mediterranean lands, were the source of inspiration that gave life to the Pluja collection.

With aim of creating a disjointed and unorganised piece of jewellery, like the drops of water when they hang onto the glass of a window, Roc Majoral conceived the Pluja collection. Combining fine materials, such as silver and gold, with more humble materials such as nylon, the collection produces the perfect symbiosis to provide flexibility and movement to the jewellery, emulating the constant stirring of the rain.

Ones: the land and the sun, strong constants of life, come together to create elegantly designed jewellery

The Ones collection is inspired by the drawings that the sunrays project over the surface of the undulating sand of the seabed of the beaches of Formentera. Made with Fairmined gold and diamonds, the collection emulates the small white and golden dunes with reflections of the sun that sparkle in the form of diamonds. An elegant design with smooth and seductive textures.

Bosc: a magical collection hidden in a corner of the High Pyrenees

Bosc is a magical collection, conceived to contemplate the beauty of the Pyrenean forests after a rainy autumn day. The damp earth and the timid sunrays glimpsed between the branches of the trees, a source of inspiration for Roc Majoral to create an evocative collection of captivating minimalism.

Romaní: a permanent reminder of the aromas of Mediterranean summers

Rosemary is the quintessential shrub of the Mediterranean settings. The branches, twisted and dry with their smell, form one of the characteristic elements of the Mediterranean coast. In this case, Enric Majoral takes this Mediterranean emblem as a benchmark to create small logs that seem to be trapped in the metal. These pieces, which ooze naturalness from every angle, have a sculptural component that always enables us to wear an emblem of Mediterranean nature.

Blat: symbol of life and jewellery with great volumetric strength

In wheat (blat in Catalan), Mediterranean jewellery finds yet another symbolic and inspiring element that comes from nature. This cereal, foundation of the Mediterranean culture and diet, enables Majoral to unify two symbolisms: on the one hand, they are pieces that take us to the natural essence of the warm landscapes dominated by wheat; and on the other hand, they represent the strength and vitality of the seeds as the origin of life.
